Mental Health Treatment For Adults

Just as each patient is unique, so is the treatment and recovery process. At Valle Vista Health System, the level of intensity and duration of mental health treatment varies according to each adult patient’s needs.

Acute Inpatient Program

Our inpatient treatment program for adults works to quickly stabilize the most serious symptoms and allow for a transition to less intensive levels of mental health care. Program components include:

  • Highly-structured and supervised environment.
  • Individual, group and family counseling as ordered by the psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.
  • Interdisciplinary treatment program, including after-care planning.
  • Recreational Therapy.

  • 24-hour nursing care.
  • Dual Diagnosis programming for Adult with a secondary Chemical Dependency Diagnosis.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Outpatient treatment for patients who don’t need around-the-clock care, including those who need to “step down” as a transition from a hospital setting. Typical enrollment is two weeks.

  • Individual, group and family counseling as ordered by the psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
